[ooc: Xros Class Change App]
Feb. 14th, 2012 01:58 amPlayer Name & Journal: Ari, digi_dragon @ lj
Character Name & Journal: Arietta the Wild,
rasiedby_ligers
Current Tamer Class: Soul Tamer
Requested Tamer Class: Xros Tamer
Reason For Request: In canon, Arietta can communicate with monsters, and every fight against her is also against two of her monster friends. Essentially, she already commands many monsters, in and out of battle using them to help her fight, gather information, and generally function better. As all her other abilities – reliant on fonons – are unable to be used here and I have already attempted to play her out that way, I believe her functioning as a commander for multiple Digimon would work best and fit her character most.
Requested Digimon Team: Liamon (Primary partner), Terriermon, Fangmon, Shakomon, and Velgemon
New Digimon Personalities: As Arietta is being rebooted, all of these are new Digimon.
Liamon – A kind but somewhat aloof Digimon, Liamon’s always tried to stay distant from others, mostly because of a desire to be seen as strong, cool, and powerful. She left her village in D’Ango a long time ago, feeling uncertain of her purpose there and more comfortable on her own in the wild. After trying (and failing) to evolve beyond Adult on her own, feeling herself powerless to help against the threats to the Digital World, she sticks for being a kind of vigilante. She’s ashamed of how little she’s been able to accomplish, but unwilling to return to her village, as her distance from the other Digimon always earned her a sort of strong, big sister-like reputation among the younger Digimon. With a desire to prove herself and an even stronger one to save the world, she’s hiding an optimistic and idealistic heart, buried and jaded after years of failure. Despite her attempts to stay aloof, if she spies a young creature in trouble, something in her just leaps to help. Arietta calls her Big Sis Liger.
Terriermon – The youngest of Arietta’s partners, Terriermon is sweet, kind, and playful. Like Liamon, he wants to prove himself, but it’s less that he’s not strong enough—it’s more that he’s a klutz. He’s clumsy, a bit dull, and usually has a bit of trouble thinking on his feet, but he’s got a big heart. He doesn’t care what he succeeds in, he just wants to be useful. This…doesn’t often turn out well. From the same water-side Dokako village as Shakomon, he’s stayed and attempted to do some good all his life, always managing to make things worse, blowing holes in houses, knocking over woodpiles – for such a small Digimon he’s got an astounding ability to cause damage. Despite all this, he’s always friendly and sweet, sometimes surprisingly able to say the right thing to make others feel better. His habit of wanting to be helpful, however, often leads him to bite off more than he can chew. Arietta calls him Useless Cheagle.
Fangmon – Fangmon has spent his life wandering the Digital World, trying to get stronger. Unlike Liamon, this isn’t out of a desire to protect; it’s out of a desire to reach the highest level he can and fight, defeating all those around him. Fangmon has a lust for power and blood, one that can’t be satiated by his current strength. He is a bit of a swindler, often times tricking Digimon into believing he’s friendly and harmless only to turn around and rip their throats out. He’s not perfect at this; often times his desire to kill will lead him to slip up, and against more powerful opponents this has led to many difficult situations. He’s not evil and he doesn’t want the world to end or be in the hands of the Demon Kings; no, he just wants all to bow down to him and prove himself the strongest. Fangmon likes to think himself cunning and conniving, but he really gives himself too much credit—he’s a bully to the highest extreme and a sadist at that. Maybe with a proper influence, he could change his ways. Arietta calls him Garm Wolf.
Shakomon – If you were to describe Shakomon in one word, it would be trickster. She’s charming, charismatic, and an actress at heart. That is her passion and that is why she left her tiny village. With moderate success, she’s found her life a bit dull, missing the spirit of acting rather than the life she’s found, small parts and more sucking up than even she’s comfortable with. Her second passion is pranking, something poor Terriermon was a victim of quite a bit when they were in the same village. She’s got a sense of humor and a sharp mind, a bit self-centered at times. She loves to swindle people, but not maliciously, just to see how much she can test her acting prowess. Shakomon’s the Digimon who had everything, relatively young but still reaching for fame, and now the Digimon who finds herself bored by this life, caught between integrity and what she thinks the acting world should be and selling out to get ahead. It’s about time, she thinks, to step away from the life and rediscover herself. Arietta calls her Linail.
Velgemon – Velgemon is a very curious, conflicted Digimon. That being, Velgemon is genderqueer. Xe does not know what gender xe identifies as. Some days xe feels male, some days xe feels female, some days xe feels both, some days she doesn’t feel either. For years, xyr struggle to identify as something has defined the way xe interacts with other Digimon. As a Falcomon, as a Diatrymon, even in xyr early days as a Pinamon and earlier, xe has felt out of place and awkward. Digimon just know what they are; they know, physically and mentally, what they are. But xyr evolution line has always been gender ambiguous. And moreover, xe knows somehow even if xe had a defined physical gender, xe wouldn’t feel connected with it. For years, xe has been angry and confused, distant and bitter. With each evolution, xe grew more and more unhappy and more and more confused. Eventually, xyr distance from other Digimon, at the level of Velgemon, has caused others to fear xyr; xe hates living in D’Ango, having become a bit of a legend. A lone Velgemon, never ever around others, a terrifying Digimon in appearance. Xe has never had a friend in xyr life…and xe has grown used to it. Xe has slowly began to understand xyr gender, but having never really connected with others, xe still stays secluded. Xe is quiet and observant, but every now and then, xe wants a friend. Xe wants to feel included. Arietta calls xem Hresvelgr.
Xros Ups:
X2 Xros Up:
Liamon + Terriermon –
Appearance: Liamon shrinks to half her size, retaining her cat-like features but gaining Terriermon-like ears, ones that are large enough to support her body-weight. She is more nimble now and can float using the massive ears. Her features appear largely untouched, but her earrings are gone and her face looks more youthful in general, resembling a younger cub version of herself. One last addition is the horn on her head, matching Terriermon’s. Both the horn and ears remain their usual coloring, but the fur around them slowly shifts from gold to cream rather than a sudden change. She stands at about the height of an average adult male.
Attacks—
Blazing Thunder: An attack that fuses Terriermon’s Blazing Fire with Liamon’s natural electric powers, a burst of fire-like energy shoots from Liamon’s mouth, a jolt of electricity zooming around it.
Spinning Strike: Using the large ears to create a mini-tornado, Liamon reaches out her claws and flies at the opponent with a spinning flurry of strikes, like a twister of knives.
Leo Headbutt: A simple headbutt attack. Liamon uses the force of the ears to propel her forward.
Liamon + Shakomon –
Appearance: Liamon remains at normal size, gaining pink shell armor on her head and shoulders, covering her face and mane entirely. Additionally, cannons emerge from the shoulder armor, which is much bulkier than the facial armor. As such, Liamon is slower, but much better defended. Her ability to leap, jump, and run are impeded in exchange for more firepower and defense, making her able to last longer in fights.
Attacks—
Black Lion Pearl: The cannons on her shoulders shoot out black pearls at opponents, like cannon balls.
Water Rocket: Propelled by water from the cannons, Liamon flies at the opponent in a corkscrewing jet attack.
Liamon + Fangmon —
Appearance: Liamon slims down and becomes much more nimble and fast. Though she still appears mostly feline in her body, her face takes on a distinct wolf-like appearance, her snout and mouth stretching out like Fangmon’s. Her tails now are lithe and thin, but very strong, and she can use them as extra functioning appendages. Fangmon’s leather armor appears now on her legs. With both the power of a canine and a feline, her hearing and eyesight are much stronger, making her apt for spying. Though she does not gain the ability to disguise herself like Fangmon has, with her thin form she is able to squeeze into tighter spaces and stalk very low to the ground, despite her large size. Her mane appears more like tufts of hair now, while her claws – purple, like Fangmon’s – are long and well-defined. Being more wiry, attacks hurt her much more. This Digimon’s purpose should be spying and sneaking only, or fights against weaker opponents. With power over light and darkness, she can create illusions, though since Fangmon’s power over darkness is only adequate, they do not last long nor are they solid.
Attacks—
Snipe Shot: A jolt of electricity fires from Liamon’s mouth. It’s small, but aimed at a vital area on a Digimon. If it hits, it will cause a lot of pain and potential paralysis, though it is difficult to aim.
Lupine Illusion: Up to two “clones” of Liamon can be created, utilizing the power of electricity (light) and darkness Liamon and Fangmon have combined. These are not solid, merely illusions that cannot fire attacks and are merely used as diversions.
Liamon + Velgemon —
Appearance: Out of all of Liamon’s X2 combinations, this one is likely one where she most resembles herself. She gains the wings of Velgemon and her mane appears more like Velgemon’s hair in shape, though it retains its color. Her tail and face gain Velgemon’s red bone-like armor (complete with Velgemon’s third eye), though it is mostly superficial. The wings allow Liamon to fly – rather than float, like Liamon + Terriermon – and at fast speeds. Her claws have grown slightly, resembling talons somewhat. She is like a griffin in appearance, though her body is largely unchanged, albeit a bit larger. She is able to create powerful gusts of wind with flaps of her wings.
Attacks—
Sonic Scream: In this form, Liamon can emit a cry that is like a roar and Velgemon’s unearthly scream in one, useful to potentially deafen enemies. The scream creates a shockwave that will last for as long as Liamon can roar.
Duo Mastery: Light flies from Liamon’s two eyes while a beam of darkness joins them from the third eye, creating a mixture of the two in a laser that swirls around its opponent like a snake, stabbing into the enemy at various points of their body.
Griffonic Darkness: In her talons, Liamon forms super-condensed ball of darkness that can be shot like little bombs from the sky. The denser they are, the more powerful the mini-explosion of dark energy when they hit.
X3 Xros Up:
Liamon +Terriermon + Shakomon —
Appearance: Using Liamon + Terriermon’s build, the feline gains the shell armor from the Liamon + Shakomon cross. Being smaller, it accounts better for mobility. The ears are left without armor and grow in size to better account for the weight of the new combination, still allowing floatation. The cannons are smaller and less like cannons now, appearing like little guns mounted on her shoulders.
Attacks—
Elemental Barrage: As Liamon shoots lightning and fire from her mouth, water shoots from the cannons on her shoulders, bombarding the enemy with tree different elemental attacks at once.
Leo Cyclone: A tornado starts from Liamon’s ears. At the same time, a burst of water flies out to create miniature hurricane-like conditions, sending the medium-sized contained storm at the opponent.
Triple Storm: An area attack. The immediate area mimics a harsh storm in conditions, complete with lightning, thunder, rain, and harsh winds. All of it originates from Liamon, whose center-standing is the eye of the storm, so to speak, the only section where the storm does not rage.
Liamon + Fangmon + Velgemon —
Appearance: Liamon’s form is covered in red-bone armor, including her elongated muzzle. She is the same size as her Liamon + Velgemon form, but her tails are thin and lithe, becoming almost like spikes instead of actual tails. Her front legs are lithe talons while her back legs remain muscled, but with sharp and long claws. Her Velgemon wings remain, allowing her to fly. Her mane appears like in her Liamon + Velgemon form, poking out from her bone-armor.
Attacks—
Lupine Clone: With Velgemon’s power over darkness, Liamon can create solid-form shadowed clones of herself, ones that can do no special attack, but ones that are a third as powerful as Liamon herself. She can create three clones at a time.
Sonic Scream: The same attack as mentioned under Liamon + Velgemon.
Swoop Bite: Liamon swoops down and attacks the enemy with her powerful jaws.
Endless Night: Darkness rains down from Liamon’s wings, blindingly thick.
X4 Xros Up:
Liamon + Terriermon + Shakomon + Fangmon —
Appearance: Liamon becomes tiny, lithe, and armored, a perfect combination. Her ears become larger than her body, and her shell cannons become tiny. Her shell armor covers her face, shoulders, and back, while her leather armor covers her legs. Her tails are thin and also armored. Her snout remains small in this form, and her main is more like tufts of fur again. She is, approximately, twice the size of Terriermon.
Attacks —
Ocean Sniper: With Fangmon’s precision, Terriermon’s size, and Shakomon’s cannons, Liamon fires pearl shots at her enemy with great aim.
Terrier Sniper: Like the above attack, but using bursts of flame and wind.
Lightning Sniper: Like the above attack, but using bursts of electricity.
Concealing Mist: Liamon produces both fire and water to create a fog of steam to obscure herself from view.
Lupine Shadow Flame: Utilizing the strength of all three Digimon, Terriermon-sized flame-creatures are created, almost like the illusions of Liamon + Fangmon. They do not hold together for long, but they charge at the enemy, lighting them aflame.
X5 Xrsos Up:
Liamon + Terriermon + Shakomon + Fangmon + Velgemon —
Appearance: The largest by far of Liamon’s forms. She is as large as Velgemon, her front legs slender but muscular with Fangmon’s leather armor and ending in talons and her back legs bulky like a Lion’s, covered in her shell armor. She can actually stand on her hind legs now. Her tails are much longer, covered in bone armor and slender, resembling two collapsible swords. Her body remains bulky like in her Liamon form, red-bone armor going down her spine and ribs. On her stomach, cream-colored Terriermon stripes spread from where the armor ends. Her face is feline, her muzzle not elongated for this form, and her Terriermon horn remains on her armor along with her third Velgemon eye. Her Shakomon cannons are mounted on her shoulders, and on her shoulders themselves, shell-armor takes over for the red-bone armor, covering her to the collar bone. Her mane is wild and untamed, unlike her other Velgemon forms. It is constantly pulsing with lightning energy. She has retained her wings and her Terriermon ears both, the latter large enough for her to use them as appendages again, stretching down, when she’s on her hind legs, to her knees.
Attacks—
Chimeric Pyre Clone: This attack does not create direct clones of Liamon, but instead creates smaller ones, around the size of Fangmon. They are clones that can turn their flames on and off at will, default appearing to be shadowy, wiry forms for the X5 Xros Up. They have no cannons and cannot stand on their hind-legs, but there can be five of them at a time, as long as Liamon can keep them formed.
Black Pearl Barrage: A raipd-fire attack of Black Pearls, ones that explode on impact.
Giant’s Sword: Liamon’s tails cross in front of her and she begins a furious onslaught of blows with them.
Chimeric Apocalypse: Liamon’s ultimate attack. This takes the power of all the Digimon combined, creating an area-attack storm including tornados, dark waves, and overpowering wind and rain. With flaps of her wings or of her Terriermon ears, she can shoot more wind or fire out into the storm.
Super Evolution: DinoTigemon
Super Evolution Xros Up:
DinoTigemon + Terriermon — Terrier Jet Accelerator
Appearance: DinoTigemon gains the Terriermon ears, but they appear more like weapons than something organic, long and somewhat resembling Terriermon’s usual Ultimate form’s ears. They are long and green, emerging from just under her face armor. They are only slightly curled, a horn emerging from the front of her forehead. The purpose of this is to provide a jet accelerator, as fire emerges from it when she runs. It can make her go very fast, fast enough to even fly for short bursts. It is like a helmet with a jet attached.
Attacks—
Tornado Charge: With a burst from the accelerator, DinoTigemon creates a high-speed charge.
DinoTigemon + Shakomon — Clam Cannon
Appearance: As she already has armor of her own, the Shakomon Xros Up gives DinoTigemon the monstrous cannons mounted on her shoulders. Other than that, she appears very similar to her usual form.
Attacks—
Black Leonine Pearl: She fires black pearls from her shoulder cannons. The black pearls that are fired are much more powerful than in her Liamon + Shakomon form, as they are proportionately as large as Liamon herself.
DinoTigemon + Fangmon — Big Bad Wolf Trap
Appearance: On her right forepaw, a giant bear-trap like weapon appears, colored red like Fangmon’s body and fur. It can snap open and closed and is extremely sharp and powerful.
Attacks—
Canis Crunch: DinoTigemon charges forward and snaps quickly at the enemy with the Big Bad Wolf Trap, often following it up with another powerful bite upon catching the opponent in her grasp.
DinoTigemon + Velgemon — Giant’s Cannon
Appearance: A large, red-bone canon is mounted on DinoTigemon’s back, Velgemon’s talons wrapped on to her shoulders. The mouth of the cannon looks like Velgemon’s mouth, constantly open, and red-bone armor reaches back down DinoTigemon’s tail.
Attacks —
Vidofnir Cannon: The cannon fires a burst of dark energy, combined with a powerful wind, almost like a super-concentrated windstorm.
Character Abilities: Arietta relies on fonons to do magic in canon, so all her magic spells and abilities are debunked here. However, she does know how to communicate and speak with monsters, tending to get along with them more than people, making her very sympathetic to Digimon. As she lived in the wild for most of her life, Arietta knows how to survive and can find food – often times meat – out in the jungle.
